# Allow running commands for any node regardless of edit context

I’m the developer of a UI prototyping tool [http://mokup.app](http://mokup.app)

I’ve already integrated my tool with Sketch and Figma without any issues. XD was planned to be the next.  
I want to make a full XD document import into my tool (same integration like ProtoPie does).

But it looks like its impossible with current limitations of the edit context.  
Please allow plugin developers to make changes to any node regardless of the edit context.

I might get you wrong here, but since (from my understanding) you only need reading access (which isn’t affected by the edit context), and don’t need to manipulate the XD document (changing stuff), that wouldn’t be a problem, would it?

Otherwise, could you maybe clarify why you need to manipulate the scenegraph for that?
