Yes please include the new UXP scripting in the stable version of Premiere Pro and other apps, not just the betas, even if on a Beta basis that needs to be manually opted into.

For example, when the Premiere Beta goes to a higher major version, its project files can no longer be opened in previous versions, and I’d rather stay on stable during that time. (The last thing I need is a beta bug making it unusable, then I’d have to start the entire project over in Stable)

But if I make a bunch of UXP scripts that I start to depend on and only work in the Beta, when Beta moves to a new major version, I’d have to choose between keep using the Beta even when its project files aren’t supported in Stable, or losing productivity from not having certain scripts.

Hopefully that makes sense.

At last I can update this thread: [CEP to UXP: Creative Cloud Plugin Migration Timeline](https://blog.developer.adobe.com/en/publish/2026/09/investing-in-the-future-of-creative-cloud-extensibility-uxp-comes-to-our-flagship-applications)

Hi @sbeandev! We’re currently collecting InCopy use cases to scope out the need for UXP in InCopy. Please either post about your use case in a new thread, or DM me. Do you have a CEP InCopy plugin you need to migrate?
