👋 Hi everyone,
a quick post (complying to the forum’s code of conduct!) to announce that I’ve published my last book on the UXP Photoshop API, titled—guess what—[Professional Photoshop UXP](https://www.ps-scripting.com/professional-ps-uxp.html).

It’s kinda like the “Professional Photoshop Scripting” second edition, but entirely rewritten. 326 pages, TOC as follows.

 ![TOC](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex015/uploads/xdplugins/original/2X/f/f59c5b6f484a72aff0547a7955baa39dca59fb59.png)

There’s plenty of demo projects, from simple UXP scripts and plugins, dev tools and ActionJSON up to machine learning integration, Imaging API and Hybrid plugins. This time around the Foreword has been written by none other than Thomas Ruark (!!)

More info [here](https://www.ps-scripting.com/professional-ps-uxp.html), where you can also get a free 70-page sample.

Thanks for your time, and cheers from 🇮🇹
—Davide

Thanks for sharing. But I think 170 dollars for a book is too much. With all due respect, I’d expect a book like this not to cost more than say 50 dollars.

It really depends on how much time it saves and what is your hourly rate. For many devs it will pay back in 2-5 hours.
