# 💥 CRASH: InDesign crashes in very basic scenario

This crashes with UDT, UXP Debugger for VSCode and also when executed in Indesign directly. My InDesign version is 21.5.1  
Same behavior in 21.6

I wasn’t able to crash Premiere or Photoshop using this technique (yet). It could be something particular about InDesign NAPI in C++ and how it is glued to JS.

I think this needs high priority, as it is basic code and can render various plugins and tool render unusable.

The most annoying thing is probably that this crash prevents the promising Debugger for VSCode from working.😒
