Enable drag and drop of xdx plugin file onto XD to install or update that plugin. **Use Case** If you are a developer and send your plugin to others to test it would help to install new versions by dragging and dropping the new version onto XD to install the new plugin. ---

@Velara On windows you can reach the plugins folder from XD by going to > Plugins-\>Development-\>Show Developer Folder This is the folder where only plugins in development should be in. But if you **go up the folder tree** to > LocalState-\>plugins here you can copy paste or drag and drop a folder of the plugin you might try. ---

I can drag and drop onto the icon in the Dock and that works (great!) but when dragging and dropping onto the application window with or without a project open does not seem to work. ---

I don’t know how Windows works. I presume there is an application window even with no open document, right? On Mac is different: without any open document we have the Home screen or nothing, so we can drag an xdx onto the dock icon only. ---

In windows I do this, Rigth click and open with: AdobeXD or AdobeXd Prerelease and it will install it.
