Hi there,

I’m building a turnover plugin for assistant editors in a tv/film environment, something I have 10 years of experience in. So far I’ve been having a great experience with all the useful features the UXP API has to offer, although I’ve found a few areas that a small addition could be a huge productivity unlock for users.

Premiere already does a great job tagging Dialogue / Music / SFX / Ambience in the essential sound panel. I would love if I could read that tag via UXP so it can move clips based on it, and organize them by tracks, which is an important part of an audio turnover.

I can’t find any way to get the audio type seen in the essential audio panel from UXP. But if there’s a way I’m missing, or you can add it, that would be amazing for tv/film premiere users!

Thanks for reading
