# Is it possible to launch UXP plugin from a CEP plugin?

Hi everyone,
I know it is possible for a CEP plugin to launch another extension from the same plugin; I’m wondering if it’s possible to do a CEP plugin to launch a UXP plugin.

Can you go into more detail what you’re trying to achieve? CEP doesn’t really know anything about UXP, so I think it’d be non-trivial to try and get anything to work. Do also note that CEP does _not_ work under native Photoshop on Apple silicon or ARM devices.

Don’t know if CEP can access and run menu commands. If it does, then maybe you can get to _Plugins_ menu, find there a plugin you need and run it 🤔
