# Is secure storage cleared on every Photoshop update?

Right… So today I finished debugging and this actually is related to [this user ID bug](https://forums.creativeclouddeveloper.com/t/bug-critical-userinfo-userid-does-not-always-return-a-value/9544/3). I honestly still don’t know why would secure storage get cleared though. Anyway, I have it sorted out for now I think 😕
