About 2 weeks ago I started a plugin for Premiere. Like many of you I read a bunch of stuff and ended up going back many time to various UXP doc pages (mostly describing the Premier objects and their methods/property, and trying to tie everything together). Yesterday I finally took the time to put my understanding of the relation between objects on a diagram for a quick lookup. Make if much faster for me to see how to access an object (some are obvious, other less so). Also seeing the full picture helps with: - Bringing questions on the API design (expl: why a getParent method on ProjItem, where it seem to only apply to FolderItem ?) - See how one can access an object which may not be obvious at first. - Find bug in the Docs (Makes little sense why a MArkers::getMarkers() takes a “ProjectItem” as the doc states - when trying it only work for CipProjectItem as one would expect) - … ---
