sequence.setSettings() clears the sequence's Output Color Space (Premiere 26.2)

Hi, while coding a script for Premiere I found this :

Calling setSettings() on a sequence clears its Output Color Space in the Color Management tab — even when the settings object is written back completely unmodified.

This means any script touching frame size, frame rate, preview settings and so on silently destroys the sequence’s output colour configuration, with no way to read the value beforehand or restore it afterwards.

Is it a known bug ? Has any solution been found yet ?

Are you getting a settings structure from Premiere, then modifying it?

If the colorspace value was obtained into a settings structure, then that settings structure is modified, it should still contain a valid colorspace setting…
