# SymbolInstance doesn't have parent property

Looks to be the same issue as [Unresponsive bug when working with interactions and components are used](http://forums.creativeclouddeveloper.com/t/unresponsive-bug-when-working-with-interactions-and-components-are-used/2518) but I’m unsure if there’s a solution yet.
