If your plugin has multiple different tools, for example Picker tool, Color conversion tool, Color extract tool, Color Palettes tool, best UX to implement them in the Adobe UXP is to create a separate panel for each (manifest entrypoints) and allow user to organize them as they want. For example, one user wants to use only Picker and Color extract tools, so they would close other panels, and dock these two inside of their Adobe host app (Photoshop for example). If they ever want to open some other tool (panel) they can go and turn it on from the Plugins menu.

This is fine, and it works well.

However, the initial UX when the plugin is installed is terrible. All of our plugin panels are shown in random locations all over the primary screen, and user has to manually go and drag each one, and organize them in their Adobe workspace.

What would help a lot, and improve UX, is providing new API or Manifest updates so that we are able to define Panel groups in the Manifest file, and when plugin is started, all its panels appear as a part of one group.

How two panels appear now, separated, they appear on my primary screen one over another:

What would be amazing if we could do:

1. Configure something like this in manifest:

2. And get panels grouped when plugin is installed and not separated:

Even greater experience would be a Panel API so that we can Open/Close/Show/Hide panels. 😃
