Bug when using insert linked

I’m developing my own panel and a button has the function that inserts the image into a Smart Object.
when I use the action that is in the action brush everything works fine
when I convert it copy to javascript and make it work it’s fine with small files,
but if the file exceeds 10mb I get this annoying window

Any executeAsModal call will trigger an indefinite progress bar if it doesn’t resolve after a few seconds.
