Export APIs for EDL, OMF, AAF, XML, OpenTimelineIO

Hello Adobe Team,

While developing a UXP panel for Premiere Pro, I noticed that several export options available in the Premiere UI are not currently exposed through the UXP API.

In particular, there is no programmatic access to export:

  • EDL
  • OMF
  • AAF
  • Avid Log Exchange
  • Final Cut Pro XML
  • OpenTimelineIO

Could these features be considered for future versions of the UXP API?

We will certainly do so, as we continue to drive parity with what was possible via ExtendScript.
