Accessing transcript data in Premiere Pro

Hi!
I’ve been trying to understand how to make a UXP / CEP plugin that utilises the text generated from Adobe’s transcription tool, but as I understand it, it’s not accessible.

Does any know when this will become accessible? And why it isn’t already accessible? This is some of the most useful data from an active sequence.

Thanks for asking your question. The transcription ability is fairly new to Premiere Pro, and so it is not available in the CEP API. (And, new development is closed for the CEP API.)

We know that plugin developers are highly interested in Caption / Transcription workflows. It is on our priority list for inclusion in the UXP API. I won’t speculate about when that will be available. But this is the right place to be watching.

Yes, would need this as well for my project to access transcript to decide on in and out point.
