CEP extension OAuth Login

I am trying to make a CEP extension where I need login functionality but as the CEP extensions use “file://” protocol the requests are denied by the backend, with the message “Requests from referer file:// are blocked”.

So I came to the conclusion that I should do something like OAuth and make the user login from the browser and pass the token to the CEP panel… But I am not sure how to pass the token from the browser to the CEP panel.

Can anyone suggest how I can achieve the communication between browser to CEP panel?

The fundamental problem is that Google OAuth login is no longer supporting … the issue in an easy way without installing a real extension .
