Frustrating user approval prompt

Hi there.

When using the uxp.shell.openPath command to open a local folder on the computer, is there a way for the user to approve opening any folder without the confirmation message appearing every time?

This message is quite annoying, especially if a key part of the extension depends on opening local folders whenever the user clicks a specific button.

This works for me also in InDesign

One of the many UXP limitations at the moment unfortunately. I’d recommend using a UXP Hybrid Plugin with Bolt UXP and passing the native open command per OS, but Premiere Pro doesn’t have Hybrid Plugins yet, hopefully soon…
