I’m hoping someone can help out with this because we are stuck! The issue with that is we can’t match the comment to an element in InDesign, as the elements don’t have their location available.
In our custom plugin for Adobe Indesign, we are able to display the comments list from a commented pdf file. However, when we click on any comment in the plugin panel, it doesn’t locate the actual commented line or text within the InDesign file. To apply the comment changes, we need the location of the commented element in the Indesign file. We can accomplish this by either getting the location of the elements in InDesign, or having inDesign identify and provide the commented element.
Any ideas?
