Hi everyone,
I’m a French production manager in charge of automation and technical workflows, with one foot and one arm in development and scripting. I work both as the developer and one the end users of the tools I build, which, I believe, gives me a very practical, production-oriented approach: every script must have an immediate and measurable impact on efficiency and reliability.
I’m currently interested in migrating production-level ExtendScript (JSX) workflows to UXP and I closely follow announcements of new features to understand how they can be integrated into real-world production pipelines.
When no proper UXP equivalent exists yet—or when features are incomplete or unstable—I focus on finding workable solutions. This includes topics such as replacing ScriptUI, dealing with partial event listener support, handling asynchronous PDF export, undo management, using global variables, reading files line by line, and optimizing performance for DOM-heavy operations.
My goal is to migrate existing JSX scripts to UXP scripts or plugins whenever possible, establish a (rather long) list of priorities, and move forward step by step on that journey within Adobe environments.
