How to Select a Tool from the Toolbar using UXP?

Hi all,

I’m developing a UXP plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and would like to programmatically select a specific tool from the toolbar (e.g., the selection tool, razor tool, hand tool, etc.), like those shown in the vertical toolbar (see attached image).

Does the UXP APIs provide a way to trigger the selection of these tools? Or is there any workaround that can achieve this?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, there is no UXP API for selecting specific tool from toolbar at this point. While parity API is our priority, we will keep track of this feature request and keep you all updated in the forum.
