Hi, everyone!
As some of you may know, I’ve recently joined Adobe to (among other things) work on improving the developer experience for plugin development.
It would be really valuable to get a better overview of what resources you use during plugin development (I know which ones I use the most, but of course, I don’t know about all of you )
Thank you very much in advance for your honest feedback!
Repositories
I am aware of the existence of the following GitHub repositories related to XD plugin development
Documentation
I primarily use these documentation sources while building plugins
- https://adobexdplatform.com/plugin-docs/
- https://www.adobe.io/xd/uxp/
- The raw files contained in the AdobeXD/plugin-docs GitHub Repository
- The raw files contained in the
AdobeDocs/*
GitHub Repositories - The TypeScript definitions contained within the
AdobeXD/typings
repository - None of the above

Open Source
How important is it to you that the development resources (documentation, samples, etc.) are well-maintained open-source projects on GitHub?
- Crtically important. I wouldn’t develop plugins otherwise.
- Important
- It’s better if they are
- I don’t really care as long as they exist somewhere
- I don’t want them to be open-source!
