A toggle switch would be appropriate for some UIs. Some times checkboxes work but other times a toggle switch fits better:
Use Case:
Jill is making a plugin panel and in it she has a live upload feature. She has a list of options in her panel but for live upload she wants to signify that it’s a different sort of option than the others.
She uses a toggle switch to show that this option, when enabled, applies a different type of behavior rather than changing a value of a property or attribute.
