I skimmed thru some youtube video and came across one (by @KerriShotts) that describe the UXP architecture.
The “ML“ component caught my eye on the main diagram (see bottom right block on the screenshot below).
Skimming thru the video, there was mention of Machine Learning capabilities being accessible thru JS at one point in the future (that was uploaded 4 years ago, the future back then may be our past now 
What ML APIs are via UXP ? I could not find docs on this.
Or was this plan scrapped and the feature will never make it ?
(or maybe redesigned to include access to stuff like rotoscoping / transcription / generative extension of clips / … )
