Are these the issues you’re referring to? (UXP 5.5.1 had an issue w/ sp-text-field's change event, not the input event.) If so, they were fixed in the following UXP release. (UXP 5.6) Since you’re using API2 & Manifest v5 w/ minVersion of 23.3, you should be fine, since that’s UXP 6.0.2.
