Delete on non-empty folder not allowed

Regarding the delete method of an entry, the docs state that for a folder the contents will be deleted, too:

However, I’m getting the following error:

It’s a folder inside the plugin data folder, so permission shouldn’t be an issue.

Edit: This error even comes when the folder is empty

Are there any hidden files within the folder, like .DS_Store?

No, the folder was completely empty

I have a problem on Win10 when it said that there are no permissions to remove the file but it was removed anyway.
