I recently implemented some plugin behavior, that depends on secure storage. Last night there was an update, which I installed. Today in the morning plugin behaves as if there was no data in the secure storage. After I got the data there, I tried restarting Ps and it worked just fine, so I assume my suspission is correct.
Could someone confirm or deny if that’s the case?
I’ve not heard of any problems with Ps 26.3. I store all plugin data in the “PluginsStorage” path. I’m not sure if that’s the same as secure storage.
No, they are different. I just finished debugging and I’m pretty sure the issue is when you install proper CCX and also have installed a plugin via Dev Tools with the same ID. Then some weird things start to happen. Basically two same plugins at the same time. Even though all storage locations are different, they don’t play well.
I’m marking this as a solution, because I believe it kinda is
Plugin installed via ccx and the one loaded from dev tools store data in different locations even if it has the same Id.
Right… So today I finished debugging and this actually is related to this user ID bug. I honestly still don’t know why would secure storage get cleared though. Anyway, I have it sorted out for now I think
