Distribution without marketplace and without warnings

Hi!

I’d like to create a UXP plug-in and distribute it to our customers without using Adobe’s marketplace. We have some products and the plug-in is just a small part of it. The plug-in is only useful in conjunction with our other products. We deliver all products by disk directly to our customers. With CEP we could code sign the plug-in so the customer had no warnings when installing the plug-in.

Right now, there’s a ‘Do you trust this’-warning when double clicking the ccx-file. Is there a way to sign the plug-in so there’s no warning for the customer?

Best regards
Lars

We would like to second this. We also distribute outside of the adobe marketplace and also code-sign our zxp’s using a proper code-signing certificate (not self-signed) to avoid any trust issues with customers and would love to continue doing this for ccx’s.
