I have some users who cannot upgrade to Photoshop 23.x because their Mac is getting old and are using my Plugins which are made on API 1
How long do we have before API 1 goes altogether ?
In the last developer meeting, it was mentioned that it would happen on a “major” release. So I think that means means it won’t happen before CC 2023 is released. Then it may or may not happen on the CC 2023 release because which major release was not specified.
So that could be as early as October 2022. What is your strategy now, are you still developing new API 1 plugins or are you only concentrating on API 2 ones
I will convert all of mine to API 2 before October 2022. It’s a pretty quick conversion.
