IIRC Photoshop a UXP developer can create multiple panels and have them shown at the same time. In Photoshop the user can dock or undock them.
This would be helpful to have this feature in XD.
I’m switching to multiple tabs in my plugin but there is the case where it would be desirable to have one panel to enter information and another panel that shows the results.
