Can someone share some info on the status of UXP plugin support for Illustrator? This was first talked about years ago, but nothing seems to be happening. It is kind of frustrating because Illustrator DOES support it already (stock plugins use it already), it is just not opened for third-parties for some reason. I have some UXP plugins for Photoshop and InDesign that I would love to port to Illustrator, but right now it just isn’t possible… supporting Illustrator would mean a near complete rewrite in ancient CEP and a completely different codebase and stack for me to maintain.
p.s. I am not looking for a workaround or custom solution here… I want the real thing
