UXP Developer Tool unresponsive when watching changes

Enabling “Watch” turns UXP Developer Tool unresponsive very often after saving/updating code. Sometimes tool freezes and crashes. Seems to work fine without watching with manual reloads.

Pre-requisites:

  • run npm run watch
  • point UXP Dev Tool to dist folder of compiled project
  • change your code and save a few times
  • notice that panel doesn’t reload, open UXP Dev Tool
  • observe endless loading
