CEP Plugin fails to install from Creative Cloud marketplace (error -24)

Hello,

I’m getting an installation error -24 after publishing a new version of our CEP plugin for Adobe Illustrator through Adobe Developer Distribution.

The plugin .zxp package itself can be installed using Anastasiy’s Extension Manager as well as using UPIA (Unified Plugin Installer Agent). The error only appears when installing from the marketplace.

Any ideas or guidance on what I might be doing wrong? Any pre-publish checks or steps I might be missing?

Thanks!

I can confirm the same issue on my side.
The problem appears to be in the Creative Cloud app’s update process.

My plugin is a UXP plugin (not CEP), so it doesn’t seem to be related to a specific plugin type. I published an update yesterday and was informed by users that they were getting this error. I have now tested the update myself via the Creative Cloud app and can reproduce the same error.

Since this affects updates distributed through the marketplace, this requires urgent investigation on Adobe’s side.

It’s working now. Probably there was a temporary issue or server outage on Adobe’s side.

Yes. I can confirm that it’s also working for me. Thanks for jumping and helping out!

I’m glad it was temporary!

I asked for an update to the -24 error on the helpX page as well, since there’s no way to check entitlements from outside of Adobe.
