Hi! I'm Kerri from Adobe!

I’m Kerri Shotts, a Developer Advocate at Adobe, and part of the team working to bring you the ability to extend Adobe XD. I’ve been at Adobe for just over a year now, and before that I was a freelance developer specializing in mobile application design and development. I’ve worked a lot with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, especially in the context of mobile applications (I’ve been involved with PhoneGap for many years). I enjoy technical writing, including code documentation! (Scary, right?)

Some fun facts:

  • My first computer was a Commodore 64, which I used to teach myself programming with Basic 2.0, no less. Ah, the days of goto and gosub:wink:
  • My hobbies (when I’m not doing tech stuff) are photography (photowalks and the like) and musical performance (piano).
  • Worked as an Oracle database administrator for awhile, and got to learn the joys of PL/SQL, a Pascal-like language with inline SQL commands. Very few things will make you more security-conscious than being a DBA!
