In the Plugin Manager, when you are displaying a single plugin, the description text is not selectable.
Enable the text to be selectable.
The current use case is there have been a few plugins that plugin authors put his or her email in the description. I would like to copy and paste it. The Get Support link sometimes solves this but in this case it points to a github page.
A second use case is if a new version is out and the release notes are in the description. I would like to select the feature name and copy and paste that if I was to submit a bug report.
