I submitted a ZXP tool for InDesign to Adobe Exchange.
(My products have been on Exchange since its inception but the last time I submitted anything was some 3 years ago.)
I received the following submission error in an email from Adobe:
We are encountering the error “Failed to install, status = -411!” when attempting to install the plugin, as the specified supported version is not available in the Marketplace.
As far as I understand, it refers to the supported version of InDesign.
My InDesign version in the MXI file is (the forum conveniently discards XML, so I had to insert an image):
I don’t have any errors installing the ZXP using the ExManCmd tool.
I did reply to Adobe with a request to clarify what it is that they want from me. From my experience, the reply time can be anything from a couple of days to never.
In the meantime, does anyone know what this error means, and do I need to correct my MXI file in any way?

A new tool called UPIA replaced ExManCmd a few years back.

Apologies that you’ve had a bad experience with the Review Team inbox in the past. They’ve expanded the team over the last two years and really improved their processes.
Hi Erin, thank you for the prompt reply and all the info.
I received a reply from the review team. The problem was indeed with the InDesign version in the MXI file. Without getting into irrelevant and boring details, it’s either I uploaded an outdated ZXP file or they reviewed a previously uploaded one somehow. Regardless, I know now what the error is about and how to address it.
