Review queue & distributing ways

@RubenRincon FYI ^^^

My point is… if Adobe is able to hire people for quality control and trust these people to do a good job… what could we do ourselves to achieve the same level trust as your employes have?

Thank you @Jarda and @Karmalakas for letting us know the issues you are facing and providing some suggestions. I will discuss this with the team, there is room for improvement.

Any advancements on the matter? I see there are ~4 new or updated plugins a day. Some days there are none at all. I’m wondering - does it really take 2 hours to review a single plugin, especially if it’s just an update?

Consider the situation… I submit a major update, but continue working on new features and/or bugfixes (similar to @MartinBailey’s case I suppose). But I cannot submit any of those for days, because I will loose my position in a queue. And when I can submit, it’s even more additional days to wait.

One more suggestion would be, to allow to queue submissions for review. Currently even that is not possible - if there’s a submission pending, another submission just replaces that. If we would be able to not replace, but add a submission with a new version number, then it would at least be less frustration…

Now I’m still waiting for the major version to be reviewed, but I have no idea when this will happen. And if it happens during the weekend, when I’m away from my PC, it’s another at least two days wasted before I can submit a feature release :frowning: So roughly it’s at least a week of waiting before users get a feature release if you implemented that feature in a few hours after the major release…
